It is easy to become confused about different types of long-term care facilities. In Georgia, a personal care home is not the same thing as an assisted living facility. An assisted living facility is a personal care home that serves over 25 people and is licensed to provided “assisted living care,” which includes assistance with daily living and administration of medications.
